Keperawatan adalah suatu profesi debagai mana halnya seorang dokter yang meberikan obat untuk penyembuhan dari sakit.keperawatan juga mempunyai ciri-ciri dan kreteria tertentusebai suatu profesi diantaranya  memiliki body of knowladge dan bebtuk pelayanan yang broentasi kepada masyarakat.

Pengertian keperawantan yaitu suatu pentuk pelayanan profesional sebagai bagian integraldari pelayanan kesehatan yang meliputi aspek dio-psiko-sosio-spritualdan itujukan kepada manusia atau masyarakat yang sehat maupu yang sakit yang mencakup talirantai kehidupan manusia.

Meskipu bayak hal yang mencakup apek keperawatan, saya akan membahas yang lebih singat dan sepat

Adapun beberapa masalah yang mengenai dasar suatu keperawatan  seorang yang  berprofesi keperawatan yaitu :

1.      Seorang perawat harus mengidetifikasi dan definisikan sebagai hubunganyang spesifik dari konsep keperawatan seperti hubungan antara konsep manusia. Konsep sekat-sakit seorang manusia, dan konsep lingkungan.

2.      Seorang perawat harus bersifat ilmiah. Artinya keperawatan dapat digunakan  dengan alasan atau rasional yang jelas dan dikembangkan  dengan mengunakan cara berpikir yang logis.

3.       Keperawatan yang bersifat sederhana dan umum. Artinya teori keperawatan d apat digunakan pada masalah sederhana maupun masalah kesehatan yang kompleks  sesuai dengan setuasi praktek keperawatan.

4.      Keperawatan berperan dalam memperkaya body of knowladge yang dilakukan melalui penelitian

5.      Keperawatan merupakan pedoman dan berperan penting untuk memperbaiki kualitas seorang praktik keperawatan.
